About the Event

Autumn is nature's way of showing us to slow down and appreciate the good things in life. What better way than with authentic Italian food? Beautifully presented in easy to eat bite size pieces, so flavoursome and fresh, you will not be disappointed.

For those who have travelled to Italy and were lucky enough to be hosted by a family for lunch, you most likely still recall what you ate! You most definitely were made to feel welcomed, like one of the family.

As part of the Blue Mountains Equinox Festival, we'll bring our culture and customs to you, providing a range of our delicious traditional southern Italian foods. A memorable experience to taste over the course of two hours.

From roast capsicum bruschetta, baked stuffed baby zucchini, pesto filled button mushrooms and pizza.

To spreads and nibbles such as olive tapenade, artichoke dip and salami bites.

Just to name a few.

And a glass of red or white wine.

Included is a short cooking demonstration, and a stroll down to our fire pit for some roasted chestnuts*, just like they do back in Calabria. Talk about engaging the senses!

*should the weather prevent us from roasting outdoors, we will provide a take home goodies bag with chestnuts.
