Blue Mountains Accommodation & Italian Cooking Classes
Experience our day classes & self contained holiday accommodation
Blue Mountains NSW Australia
Tourism in the Blue Mountains has been hit hard first by the devastating bushfires, and now Covid-19. At this time, we are not taking bookings or holding classes as we encourage you to #stayhome and #staysafe. You may purchase Gift Vouchers for both, and we are also selling our beautiful handmade pasta in Gourmet Gift Packs. Reach out to us by email or phone if you'd like to order.
We look forward to hosting you again when life returns,
not to normal, but to better.
Set with a backdrop to the Blue Mountains National Reserve and Minni HaHa Falls down the street, Fifth Ave Katoomba Retreat sits on a 1000 sqm block and is a relaxing space for 8 people where you will experience that 'ahhh' moment instantly. A five to ten minute drive to main tourist attractions and a peaceful aspect when you return from your Blue Mtns day trip. Or take a quick ride into town by public bus from the top of our street!
Suitable for small groups and the perfect family accommodation with holiday house essentials and little luxuries – encouraging you to unwind so you focus on time together. It's not too big for couples either.
On check out we entice you to sleep in to recharge your mind and body. Take your time, soak in the view from the deck and breathe in fresh mountain air. The only exception to this is when we have back to back bookings where check out will be at 11am.
Please use our pantry items (long life milk, cereal, Italian coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil, vinegar) but don't forget to bring your own fresh food including bread.
On the driveway, or up onto the nature strip in front of our house.
NB: parking on neighbouring properties is very much frowned upon.
Crockery, pots and pans, glassware, cutlery etc. Electric oven and cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, percolator, tea pots for tea lovers, portable electric BBQ (pls clean after use).
Log in details are at the house.
But do try to unplug for awhile and enjoy the beautiful surroundings & time together.
Just a flick of the button & you have all the romance of a log fire, without having to work out how to light one! Plus a bathroom heat lamp, bedroom heaters & carpet.

“We had an enjoyable stay at this well appointed residence and would have no reservation in recommending it to others. We particularly loved the attention to detail and some of the homely touches, very thoughtful. Thanks Silvana."
